ABOUT

LOCH HART

Now in its second year, Loch Hart Music Festival is back and committed to bringing you the goods! Exciting acts from all around Australia, tasty culinary treats, boutique craft beer bar plus BYO, with relaxed vibes all set on a beautiful coastal-country property on the Great Ocean Road.

Loch Hart Music Festival is a place where you can unwind, escape the daily grind and discover amazing live music.  The festival was founded with an aim to showcase local up and coming Australian talent and show off the beautiful Great Ocean Road region.

The Loch Hart vibe is chill, the music is infectious and the scenery is sure to inspire. We want all attendees to relax and focus on having a good time with friends, old and new. Our philosophy is simple; we want a festival where you go home rejuvenated and refreshed. Options are aplenty at Loch Hart; you can bring a picnic rug and chill to the tunes in the arvo, play giant games in the gaming area, or get up for yoga in the morning. You do you. We don’t mind, as long as you’re happy and everyone else is too.

The festival was created in search of that moment. You know, that moment. That moment when you’re listening to some killer tunes, surrounded by your closest friends, the sun is beaming down on your face, you’ve just eaten a glorious meal and you stop and take it all in. That moment when you look around and go “this is the life”. We love those moments. They happen everywhere and anywhere and this is a festival full of millions of moments.

While we’re having our moment, it’s important we let the Earth have it’s own. We’re committed to reducing our impact while putting on the best festival we can. We’re consciously considering the environment with every decision we make as we attempt to balance the needs of our attendees with the needs of the planet. Some of the initiatives will be implementing to make Loch Hart Music Festival a sustainable and environmentally friendly one include engaging with Better Cup to limit single use plastic throughout the site, providing free drinking water, and ensuring all our food vendors use compostable packaging.

Loch Hart Music Festival acknowledges the traditional owners of the land on which the festival takes place. We pay our respects to elders past, present and emerging and are grateful for the artistic contribution of Aboriginal people to the Australian music scene.
